Vegan carob cake which is healthy and cheap

But, we will be cooking a healthy alternative with Carob flour instead of chocolate. Why? Because – Carob has twice the amount of calcium compared to cocoa, fat- and caffeine-free, free of a migraine-triggering compound.Why buy and pays a lot of money for a simple piece of cake? You can cook a whole cake yourself, having spent a least of money on it. You will know that your pastry does not contain harmful substances and no dairy. Let’s go!
How to bake a Vegan Naradi cake?
You will need –
- 300 gr of white flour or all-purpose flour
- 150 gr of brown sugar (but, if you want, better to use dates)
- 80 gr of carob flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 0,5 ts of a Himalayan pink salt
- 15 gr of dry vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 200 ml of water
- 50 gr of melted coconut oil (or other vegetable oil)
Mix all wet ingredients and all dry ingredients. After, mix it together slowly about 2-3 minutes until well blended. Grease the baking dish and pour the mix. Preheat oven to 190 C (375F) and bake your Naradi cake for about 30 minutes. Enjoy!
